Clips from Dorian Gray, which will be released in the UK in two weeks, have been released. I am really looking forward to this movie despite its not having a release date in North America yet. Thank you to Ben Barnes Fan. Here is a list of clips that have been released so far:
I finally finished making screen captures of The Tudors season 3 finale and added all of them to the gallery. This is the only episode of season 3 we have in the gallery and it will be the only episode until the DVD boxset is released. I really liked the third season. As for Henry VIII’s new wives: Joss Stone played Anne of Cleves and Tamzin Merchant (an excuse to plug my new site) played Catherine Howard.
Amazing Rachel Weisz recently posted a brand new trailer for Agora, which you can view at the website right here. The movie stars Rachel Weisz and Oscar Isaac.
A historical drama set in Roman Egypt, concerning a slave who turns to the rising tide of Christianity in the hopes of pursuing freedom while also falling in love with his master, the famous female philosophy professor and atheist Hypatia of Alexandria.
I recently discovered a new BBC historical series. I apologize for failing to let people know about it before it aired as the show is nearly over! The show (or is it a miniseries?) is called Desperate Romantics and is about “the private lives of the Pre-Raphaelites” in 1850s London. I watched the first episode last night and am enjoying it so far. The music doesn’t seem to fit the time period, but the characters are likable. If you enjoyed Girl With a Pearl Earring, for example, or want something more playful than that, then this show is for you! You can visit this website for more information.
More production stills from Solomon Kane have been released by Bloody-Disgusting.com. Click on the link to view their gallery. The film has yet to secure a North American release, but it is scheduled to screen at next month’s Toronto International Film Festival. Hopefully it will acquire some much-needed attention there.
Despite being pushed to February, the trailer for The Wolf Man was released by Yahoo! recently. You can view the trailer at Emily Blunt Fans. Personally I think the movie might be too scary for me to watch, but any project that can attract Sir Anthony Hopkins and Emily Blunt cannot be that horrible!
Hello everyone. I will add new screen captures in a little while, but for now here are some websites and affiliates that you should visit. The first, Fiction to Film, is a site dedicated to beloved novels that are now upcoming films, including The Lovely Bones and Dorian Gray. I love the concept! Cate Blanchett Fan is owned by my friend Laura. Cate, as many know, is playing Lady Marion in Robin Hood. The third site is my new site for Harry Lloyd, who has starred in the BBC Robin Hood and The Devil’s Whore.
More pictures of Russell Crowe as Robin Hood on the set of Robin Hood have surfaced. Follow this link to see them all. I am really curious as to what Cate Blanchett’s Lady Marion looks like. The movie is expected to be released next year. I read a fact that Crowe is the oldest person, at 45, to have played Robin Hood on film.
Fellow Russell Crowe fans, you know I always come through for you! Here are the latest photo’s of our boy riding horseback earlier today in Dovedale, England while filming scenes from the highly anticipated Robin Hood.
