Another new show is in the gallery. I bought season 2 of Emily of New Moon today and started watching and capping it (the first season wasn’t available). The DVD quality isn’t all that great, but it will do since the show was only recently released on DVD despite being aired more than a decade ago! The show takes place in the late 1800s.

A new show has been added to the gallery. Although it isn’t exactly historical, BBC’s Merlin is based on Arthurian legends and history and I thought it deserved a place here at Long Ago Captures. The first episode has been added to the gallery. It brought back fond memories of autumn 2008! The show is fun and appropriate for children, but it also has its darker moments.

I am slowly working towards completing the Rome screen capture gallery! Captures from Rome 1.1 have been added to the gallery. Hope you enjoy them.

HQ screen captures from the upcoming Starz miniseries, The Pillars of the Earth, have been added to the gallery. The miniseries will begin airing in July.

I am working on television DVD screen captures this week and have started adding Crusoe captures to the gallery. While the series wasn’t my favorite, it was a shame it was not continued.

The second episode of The Mists of Avalon is now in the gallery. Working on this movie made me realize all over again how beautiful the costumes are. Edward Atterton is also my favorite King Arthur out of all the Arthurian movies I’ve seen so far. I’m quite proud of our King Arthur movie collection (see the Medieval category)! I hope you enjoy the screen captures.
